The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
